Who Is This Program For?

Yes And Innovations considers reduced-fee partnerships with nonprofit organizations working in areas such as:

  • Education and youth development
  • Arts and culture
  • Community development
  • Mental health and wellness
  • Human services
  • Social connection and belonging
  • Conflict reduction
  • Environmental protection
  • Disability advocacy and accessibility
  • Leadership development
  • Workforce development
  • Equity and opportunity
  • Public service
  • Community health
  • Other forms of meaningful human and social impact

Organizations do not need to fit perfectly into one category. We are most interested in understanding the work you do, the people you serve and how stronger leadership, communication or teamwork could increase your impact.

Why Yes And Innovations Supports Nonprofits

Organizations doing important work often face the same leadership and communication challenges as large companies — but without the same training budgets.

Nonprofit leaders and teams may be dealing with:

  • Limited staff and resources
  • Leadership fatigue and burnout
  • Miscommunication between employees, volunteers and board members
  • Difficulty explaining the mission to donors and supporters
  • Team conflict or low morale
  • Rapid organizational growth
  • Leadership transitions
  • Uneven communication across programs
  • Difficult community conversations
  • Challenges engaging volunteers
  • Trouble telling stories that move people to act
  • The need to accomplish more without exhausting the team

A worthy mission does not automatically create a healthy organization. People still need practical skills for listening, communicating, leading, collaborating and working through pressure.

When the people inside a nonprofit communicate more effectively, the organization is better equipped to serve the people outside it.

How We Can Help

Depending on the organization’s needs, reduced-fee support may include:

  • Leadership training
  • Emerging-leader development
  • Executive coaching
  • Team building
  • Board and leadership-team development
  • Public-speaking and presentation training
  • Storytelling for fundraising and advocacy
  • Executive-presence coaching
  • Difficult-conversation training
  • Meeting and communication improvement
  • Strategic retreat facilitation
  • Volunteer communication training
  • Customized workshops
  • Virtual training and coaching
  • Follow-up cohort sessions

Programs may be delivered by Brett Duggan or another carefully selected Yes And Innovations coach.

Training That Is Practical, Engaging and Human

Nonprofit professionals do not need another tedious workshop that gives them more information and no opportunity to use it.

Yes And Innovations programs are highly interactive. Participants learn through exercises, discussion, simulations, storytelling, practical challenges and realistic situations drawn from their work.

We create a safe environment where people can experiment without being embarrassed or forced to perform.

Our approach helps participants practice:

  • Listening without immediately reacting
  • Communicating clearly under pressure
  • Building trust across different personalities
  • Speaking about the mission with conviction
  • Handling conflict without damaging relationships
  • Giving and receiving feedback
  • Leading volunteers and employees
  • Telling stories that make an impact memorable
  • Remaining calm during difficult conversations
  • Turning ideas into coordinated action

The goal is not simply to provide an enjoyable day. The goal is to develop skills the organization can continue using.

NeuroSpontaneity™ for Mission-Driven Organizations

The NeuroSpontaneity™ System develops human capabilities that are especially valuable inside mission-driven organizations.

StoryGenesis™

StoryGenesis helps nonprofit leaders communicate why their work matters. Participants learn to tell ethical, memorable stories that can support fundraising, advocacy, recruitment, community engagement and organizational culture.

Connective Intelligence™

Connective Intelligence develops listening, trust, collaboration and meaningful human connection. It helps employees, volunteers, leaders and board members build upon one another’s ideas instead of working in isolation.

Somatic Resonance™

Somatic Resonance helps leaders regulate their nervous systems and communicate with greater vocal and physical presence. This is especially valuable for professionals carrying emotionally demanding responsibilities.

Magnetic Influence™

Magnetic Influence develops ethical influence, status flexibility and the ability to move people toward action without manipulation.

TechnoResilience™

TechnoResilience helps organizations remain human, adaptable and connected while technology changes how people work and communicate.

Reduced Fee Does Not Mean Reduced Quality

Mission-aligned organizations receive the same thoughtful customization and professional training standards that Yes And Innovations brings to corporate clients.

The reduced fee reflects our commitment to supporting organizations designed to do good. It does not mean that the work is less substantive or that participants receive a generic, recycled program.

Before making a recommendation, we learn about:

  • Your mission
  • The community you serve
  • Your organizational challenges
  • The people who will participate
  • The outcomes you need
  • Your timeline
  • Your available resources
  • What success would look like

We then determine whether there is a strong match and what form of support is realistically possible.

How Reduced-Fee Partnerships Work

Because Yes And Innovations must balance nonprofit support with existing client commitments, reduced-fee engagements are limited.

Consideration may be based on:

  • Alignment with our mission of increasing human connection
  • Demonstrated community or social impact
  • The organization’s financial need
  • The clarity of the requested outcome
  • The number of people served
  • The organization’s readiness to participate
  • Program scope and location
  • Coach and facilitator availability
  • The possibility of a meaningful continuing partnership

Reduced fees are determined individually. Some expenses — including travel, accommodations, venue costs, materials or specialist-provider fees — may still need to be covered by the organization.

Submitting an inquiry does not guarantee acceptance or a particular discount.

If Your Nonprofit Is Creating Meaningful Good

If your nonprofit is creating meaningful good and stronger human connection would help expand its impact, we would like to hear from you.

Tell us about your mission, the people you serve, the challenge you are facing and the kind of support you need.

Brett Duggan and Yes And Innovations will review your request and determine whether a reduced-fee partnership is possible.

What We’ll Ask You

There is no application form to fill out. Inquiries reach us by email or on a short call through the contact page — so it helps to have these answers ready before you write. We will ask:

  • What is the name and website of your organization?
  • What is your organization’s mission?
  • Is your organization a registered nonprofit?
  • Who does your organization serve?
  • What leadership, communication or teamwork challenge are you facing?
  • What service or training are you seeking?
  • How many people would participate?
  • What outcome would make this engagement successful?
  • What is your desired timeline?
  • What budget is currently available?
  • Why do you believe your work aligns with the mission of Yes And Innovations?
  • Would virtual delivery be an option?
Frequently Asked Questions

Questions we hear before an engagement

Do you work with every nonprofit at a reduced fee?

No. Availability is limited, and each request is evaluated individually. We prioritize organizations whose work strongly aligns with our mission and whose needs fit our capabilities.

Do we need to be a registered nonprofit?

Registered nonprofit organizations are the primary audience for this program. We may also consider certain community projects, educational initiatives or mission-driven organizations when there is a particularly strong alignment.

How much is the reduced fee?

There is no standard discount. The fee depends on the organization’s needs, resources, program scope, location and the availability of our team.

Is this a grant?

No. This is a reduced-fee professional service, not a financial grant. Yes And Innovations does not provide direct funding through this program.

Can you provide free training?

Occasionally, a limited pro bono opportunity may be possible, but free services should not be expected. Our primary model is a reduced-fee partnership that allows both organizations to contribute to the work.

Can you work with our board?

Yes. Support may include board communication, retreat facilitation, leadership alignment, storytelling, presentation training or strengthening the relationship between the board and staff.

Can you help us tell our story to donors?

Yes. StoryGenesis™ can help leaders communicate the organization’s mission, impact and purpose more clearly. We emphasize truthful, ethical storytelling that respects the people and communities represented.

Do you offer virtual programs?

Yes. Virtual coaching and training can make reduced-fee support more accessible by eliminating travel and accommodation expenses.

Can Yes And Innovations travel to us?

Yes. In-person programs may be available. Travel, accommodations and related expenses would be discussed during the planning process.

What do you expect from participating organizations?

We expect honest communication, active participation, respect for our coaches and a genuine commitment to applying what is learned. Reduced-fee support should be treated as a serious investment by everyone involved.
